Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Process Engineer who will be responsible for conducting analyses aimed at enhancing the technical and economic aspects of the process, or in response to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements. Subsequently, the engineer must deliver comprehensive study reports to their superiors and those accountable for production.
Responsibilities:
- The process engineer, possessing a thorough understanding of the operational procedures, is tasked with ensuring the optimal functioning of the production apparatus.
- Collaboration with production personnel is a fundamental requirement for the process engineer.
- The individual in this role is also expected to actively contribute to facility operations through participation in the execution of specific improvement projects.
- Collaborating within a cross-functional team, the engineer evaluates both process and equipment performance extensively.
- The engineer serves as the primary scientific and technical liaison for both operational and engineering matters.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
- Possession of a degree in metallurgical engineering, or a broader education with a specialization in Processes or equivalent. Ideally, the candidate should boast 5 years of professional experience within a similar sector.
- Proficiency in both French and English languages.
- Profound capacity for devising work plans and resource allocation, as well as monitoring implementation progress.
- Noteworthy aptitude for analyzing and interpreting outcomes.
- Skill in conveying performance-related information effectively.
- Ability to respond promptly to emergency situations.
- Demonstrated capability for self-growth and on-the-job learning.
- Proficiency in managing stress within an industrial and production setting.
