Job Description:


Our client, is seeking a Human Resources Director, The Human Resources (HR) Director reports to the Chief People and Sustainability Officer and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources function within the organization. This includes developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the company's overall mission and goals. The HR Director plays a pivotal role in talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's business objectives.
  • Drive workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management initiatives.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting top talent.
  • Develop and maintain effective onboarding processes for new hires.
  • Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
  • Manage performance appraisal processes and provide guidance to managers.
  • Identify and address performance issues and development needs.
  • Develop and manage training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Foster a learning culture within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Participate in salary surveys and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation practices.
  • Utilize HR data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
  • Develop and report on key HR metrics to measure departmental effectiveness.
  • Manage and mentor HR staff, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the HR department.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible HR leadership experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into HR strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • A passion for employee development, company culture, and recruiting the best of the best.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the DRC.
