Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Grave Relocation Specialist who will manage the complete relocation process of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, implement and develop our grave relocation processes and projects from consultation and permitting to exhumation and re-internment, and close-out.
• Manage and develop grave relocation engagement plans in consultation with the Stakeholder Engagement team.
• Develop, manage and maintain relationships with 3rd party contractors, to facilitate the grave relocation process.
• Compile and review scientific reports for submission to client and/or legal authorities.
• Participate in business development activities including, developing fit-for-purpose proposals.
• Build and maintain client relationships.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• 5 + years in the relevant field, preferably within consulting or stakeholder engagement would be beneficial.
• Honors Degree in Humanities or Social Sciences such as Anthropology, Archaeology, Development Studies, Sociology.
• Environmental, Heritage, Mining and Social legislation.
• Excellent mentorship and coaching skills.
• Fluency in indigenous South African languages would be beneficial.
